1. About Master of Missiology
The Master of Missiology trains leaders, pastors, and missionaries to meet the challenges of the diverse, multi-ethnic and complex mission fields. The program provides students with a Missiological framework for understanding the biblical, theological, and historical studies and the practical challenges that the mission field presents. Students will be provided not only with courses in Biblical studies, Church History, and Theology, but also in Anthropology, Cross-Cultural Studies, History of Missions and Missiology.
2. Student Learning Outcomes
- Be able to demonstrate continuous growth in faith and Christ-like character, and a growing sense of God’s calling to ministry.
- Be able to demonstrate proficient leadership in cross-cultural ministries and church planting.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to integrate historical and systematic theology into a larger biblical framework.
- Be able to understand and articulate what Christian worldview is and have a worldwide vision for fulfilling the Great Commission.
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in Biblical studies, interpret the Scripture’s original meaning though sound exegetical and hermeneutical approaches, and apply the Scripture in his/her own life and community.
3. Future Ministry/Career Possibilities
- Graduates of this program have the opportunity to train pastors, leaders, and missionaries to meet the challenges of multi-cultural diversity and complexity. They have the opportunity to become missionaries, pastors, lay mission leaders, evangelists, church planters or community ministry leaders in local churches or non-profit organizations.
