1. About Doctor of Ministry
The Doctor of Ministry degree program is designed to provide advanced training in the practice of biblically and theologically oriented ministry to those actively involved in vocational or bi-vocational ministry. Our program engages pastors and leaders of churches and Christian institutions in active and practical theological reflection as they continue fulfilling their current ministerial roles. The program concentrates on developing expertise in the biblical rationale, sociological strategy, and practical implementation of ministry.
2. Student Learning Outcomes
- Articulate and reflect at a doctorate level, practical theological concepts that are helpful for the spiritual growth of the body of Christ, which can be implemented in church ministry settings.
- Demonstrate skills for actively engaging churches in specific cultural contexts for missional purposes.
- Exhibit leadership qualities as reflective practitioners.
- Actively engage in intentional and personal communal practices that help with character development, nurture spiritual formation, and deepen relationships.
3. Future Ministry/Career Possibilities
- Aside the current ministerial positions that the graduates of this program are actively serving in, they will also find opportunities to teach at a college and seminary level. Ministerial positions include positions such as: Pastors, youth pastors, leaders/members of Christian institutes and ministry organizations, or any vocational or bi-vocational individuals actively serving in ministry settings.
