1. About Diploma in Christian Arts
Our program in Christian Arts offers students a chance to study the subject of Arts in light of evangelical Christianity. The students will be able to observe the development of artistic styles and philosophies as Christianity have developed throughout the centuries. Through the program, the students will learn to understand the important role that art played in the history and the growth of the church.
2. Student Learning Outcomes
- Be able to formulate and defend a biblically based, personal philosophy of Christianity as it pertains to arts.
- Understand the important role of arts in the growth and development of the church throughout the centuries.
- Observe, research, and critique contemporary arts and Christian arts in light of orthodox evangelical Christian theology.
3. Future Ministry/Career Possibilities
- Students, upon graduating from this program, will receive a diploma of Christian Arts. With this, the students will be qualified to teach at various positions in the church, including: Sunday school ministers, youth group teacher, Art teacher within church, teach in missionary schools, and devote their artistic talents to serving in various ministry settings.
